NBA Teams Have a Photoshop War Over Cereal Box Athletes

When NBA players recreated the emoji war this off-season, NBA fans thought it couldn’t get any better. This time, several teams took to Twitter to have another war; this time over photoshopped cereal boxes. It started when the Cleveland Cavaliers introduced their “new” cereal, Special Kay, in reference to Kay Felder.

From there, the rest just snowballed. The Atlanta Hawks were the first to respond back to Cleveland’s content, and other teams, like the Magic, Clippers, Hornets and Mavericks followed suit. Here are a few that were posted:

Other teams eventually got into the mix, adding players like Lebron James, Mike Conley, and Hassan Whiteside to popular cereal boxes, like Smacks, Count Chocula and even Honey Nut Cheerios. The fans of course fell in love with the idea and responded to these cereal themed concepts.

This war could be coming to a close since summer is almost over, but the NBA season doesn’t begin until late October. Hopefully, players and teams can find other ways to entertain us until then.
