Instagram Adds Direct Links and Landscape/Portrait Photos to Direct Messaging

IG just keeps getting better by the month.

The photo-sharing app has added quick, much-needed updates to its Direct Messaging tool today.

You now have the ability to send photos to others either in portrait or in landscape through your DMs. Before the update, you would have to crop the photo; now you can send all the memes and selfies you want in all of their abundance.

You can also send links via Direct Messaging. Beforehand, clickable links were never made available for Direct Messaging. These new updates are making it even easier to connect with audiences around the world on Instagram.
