6. Pexels Goes Cat Crazy
The popular royalty free photo site, Pexels, changed its home page to announce to the world it would exclusively be hosting cat images. Even though a site like that would probably do very well on the internet, this was yet another hoax. However, its Cat Photo Challenge, where users can “upload cat photos and win cat food” (until April 7), is actually very real. Users are encouraged to submit their best cat photo. The winner will be chosen by Rocky, the official Pexels cat, who will be selecting his favorite using advanced cat technology.
