Following DeMarcus Cousins’ tirade vs. a Sacramento Bee reporter, news of another athlete-reporter confrontation has hit the web.
During last week’s showing of the NFL’s “Thursday Night Football”, Seahawks’ All-Pro cornerback Richard Sherman was spotted absolutely blowing up on offensive coordinator Darrell Bevill after the Seahawks play caller repeatedly called passing plays at the goal line.
After the game, Sherman told reporters that he was upset about the team choosing to throw from the one yard line, but made the point that he didn’t care how his sideline outburst made him look.
“I could care less. Good thing I’m a villain. It’s not going to kill my perception,” Sherman told reporters.
Sherman’s next bit of action definitely helps the villain role he enjoys playing. Listen to the SoundCloud below:
I appreciate the role the media plays and they have a tough job. I let it get personal today and I regret that. Next one should be fun
