Jordan Brand to Release Its Own Set of Emojis

As emojis continue to take over our everyday language, various celebrities have ventured into the emoji business, releasing their own emoji apps that feature custom emojis to reflect their likeness. Now it’s time for sneakerheads to hop into the emoji madness.

Jordan Brand has announced their new emoji app that will release later this month. It will feature 24 custom emojis that symbolize the greatest basketball player of all time’s empire, filled with Jordan’s six championship rings, goats, sneakers and everyone’s favorite Snapchatter, DJ Khaled.

The Jordan Brand Emoji app will be a free download for both Apple and Android users, but will be available first on an invite-only basis. The current 24 emojis will be updated with real-life sneaker releases and various events, such as the NBA All-Star Weekend and the NBA Playoffs. And of course with any Jordan Brand sneakers, there will be “quickstrike” Emojis available only on certain days.
