Instagram’s New “Collections” Feature

Recently, Instagram made an announcement that will allow users to organize saved post into private group “collections.” You can now create and name a collection or add an existing picture to it. The “collections” feature for Instagram is similar to the pin feature on Pinterest.

This could be helpful for the many people who rely on content for ideas.

Instagram stated that since December – when bookmarks were launched – 46% of users have saved at least one post. It’s a hassle to screenshot a post from Instagram then look through your photos, and this update will make it easier for content creators to organize all of their favorite artists, videos, or upcoming events from each post.
