Coded Couture: Google and H&M’s Ivy Revel Create New Dresses from Data

Fashion has once again ripped the runway and is taking a whole new personal approach for the consumer.
Google and H&M’s digital fashion house Ivy Revel have partnered up to bring forth “Coded Couture” , your own personalized and elegant black dress curated through data. The data is collected through an Android App called “Data Dress,” which is linked to Google’s Snapshot API that collects tons of data, including weather, events you attended and frequent hang-out environments. Through that, a digital design of the dress is formulated and available for purchase. Pretty impressive, right?
The app is currently only available to influencers like Ivy Revel’s co founder Kenza Zouiten, due to closed alpha testing, but if you are interested in partaking in the experience of Coded Couture, you can sign up for the future trial that’s available. Prices start at $99.
