Facebook meets VR

Recently, there has been quite the buzz about the newfound and upcoming technology referred to as virtual reality. Unbeknownst to the public, Facebook, the ever-so-popular social network, has launched their own version of VR, known as Oculus Rooms. There isn’t anything official for the VR software yet, but it has been rumored to release some time in 2017. With this collaboration, people will be able to participate in a VR space with friends that they have connected with on the social network.

Oculus has its own VR software – referred to as Oculus Rift – where one can have a virtual space/apartment. With the Facebook collaboration, users are able to socialize and connect with friends.
