The End of Vine and The Beginning of Vine Camera.

Vine might be dead, but those six-second videos will forever live on in our hearts. And Vine.co. And as newly-rebranded Vine Camera.

On Jan. 17, Vine will transform into Vine Camera. What does this mean? Well, you will still be able to make 6.5 second lopping videos, but now instead of uploading it on Vine you can post them on Twitter or save them to your camera roll. That’s pretty much it.

Vine.co will transform into an archive of videos created on the app, however, users must save an archive of their vines through the app before Jan. 17. They can be downloaded to user’s phones or sent to users in an archive through email. Downloading to your phone will only save the video file, whereas receiving the archive through email will include caption totals, likes totals, and revine totals.
