I really appreciated Jeff Spross’s piece on why Twitter had to “cut the Vine.” I never really understood why Vine could never seem to gain advertising revenue, but Spross explained Twitter’s Wall Street pressures well. Sad to see Vine go.

In an age where enough athletes have gone “broke” that it was the title of an ESPN 30 for 30 special, it is refreshing to see a young man securing his financial future, and having his family help him instead of bleed him dry.
