Tweet Documents Grandma Getting Stopped at Airport for Carrying Donuts on Board

Ruby Tijerina was stopped recently at an airport for trying to take some precious cargo onto the plane with her: a bag with her favorite donut holes from Round Rock Donuts. If you’re not from the Central Texas area, you don’t understand the heaven that is a Round Rock donut. But trust us, they’re worth a security risk.
Her grandson, Landon Pederson saw the whole thing unfold and took to social media to share some of the conversation that he was having with a relatives.

In an article published by mySA, Tijerina was headed to Missouri with Pederson, her daughter and granddaughter to meet with other family members for vacation. She had packed the donuts and chorizo because she knew that they would please her grandsons. As she was going through security, her bag was selected for a search. She stated she felt nervous, but after the guard checked the bag and found the donuts, he placed everything back in and allowed her to proceed.
