Snapchat Adds Two New Snap-Enhancing Features

Snapchat recently introduced two new features that will give users more creativity to their snaps and stories.

The first update is called Multi-Snap, which allows users to record up to six 10-second clips in a row. Then, the user can go back over them to find the best clips to send out or save. This has the potential to make Stories more action-packed and on-point. To use it, the user simply has to hold the video button longer the the usual 10 seconds and Snapchat will continue rolling the footage. Users can then add your usual effects, texts, and filters.

Here is a video posted by TNW of how Multi-Snap works:

The second feature is called tint brush, and it allows the user to change colors within each snap.

The icon appears in the form of a magic want and provides object recognition technology. With just the slide of a finger, users will be able to select a desired color for an object and trace an outline of it on the photo itself. The app will then add special colors and effect to objects in the frame. This feature can be useful because it allows the user to have different visual elements and grab veiwers’ attention.

TNW also posted this video to demonstrate tint brush:

Tint brush and multi-snap are available for iOS platforms, and while Android currently has tint brush, expect multi-snap to be available soon.
