Portland Trailblazers Hold Press Conference for New Player
The Portland Trailblazers received their “newest” player after a trade that took place between them and the Houston Rockets last Wednesday. In the trade, guard Tim Quarterman was exchanged for “Cash Considerations”. Several other teams like the Dallas Mavericks, Phildelphia 76ers, Atlanta Hawks and the L.A. Clippers have been trading with the Houston Rockets in the past few days, and while several players have gone, the Rockets keep trading cash in return for the players.
In an interesting twist to the agreement, the Trailblazers thought they would host a press conference for their newest player, Cash Considerations, giving a bag of cash human-like characteristics.

The Trailblazers even went as far as creating a gif video welcoming newly acquired player to the city of Portland.

This definitely has to be one of the funniest jokes in today’s modern NBA, sitting up there with the popular Shaq “feet” tweets, Lebron James’ hairline and Steph Curry shoe jokes. Other members of the media also added in their own two cents, making NBA Basketball statistics and spoof quotes on behalf of Cash Considerations.
