Pixelmator App Lets You Edit Photos On Your Phone

High-end photo editing software like Photoshop has traditionally been something you could only do on your desktop computer. Simple photo apps just don’t have the power or detail that photographers and visual content need.

Apps like Pixelmator give you even more control and options than other apps out there. It is only available for iOS at the Apple Store for $4.99, and it offers cool features and effects like the “repair” tool which allows you to remove imperfections from the photo. Another feature, “kaleidoscope” allows you to turn pictures into abstract art.

The app has been around for a few years, originally on the iPad, with the distinction of winning “Best iPad App of the Year.” And it’s also available for use on your iPhone.

This tool can help photographers, especially those who are always on the go, have more accessibility to editing. Instead of having to pull out their laptop, or tablet, or if they forgot these devices, they can easily use the convenience of their phone to take the photo and edit it.
