Social Media Honors the Passing of Adam West

If you are immersed in the world of super heroes and fighting for justice, then the name Adam West should be tops on the list of famous super hero actors. Sadly, the world lost the popular figure last Friday as West died from his battle with leukemia at the age of 88.
West was well known for his role as Bruce Wayne/Batman in the popular 1960’s live action television show “Batman,” with its catchy songs and iconic fight sequences. He was also known as the voice of Mayor West in the comical cartoon sitcom “Family Guy.”
Many celebrities such as Mark Hamill, who’s played voice-overs for the Joker, and those who have been privileged to also don the caped crusader like Ben Affleck, the current Batman in the DC Universe, paid tribute to the late West through social media.
Adam West exemplified heroism. Kind, funny and an all around great guy. Thank you for showing us all how it’s done. @therealadamwest
