Inside Chance The Rapper’s Magical Puppet World – Pigeons & Planes

Last October, I spontaneously bought tickets and flew to Chicago to see Chance The Rapper at his Magnificent Coloring Day Festival. Seeing some of my favorite artists such as Tyler, The Creator, Lil’ Wayne, and Kanye West was amazing (really, the Kanye surprise almost gave me a heart attack), but it was the finale that really made my impetuous trip worthwhile. Seeing Chance The Rapper perform with his puppet co-stars in this imaginative world that he brought to life inside of U.S. Cellular Field in front of his hometown Chicago, Illinois was absolutely breathtaking. Eric Skelton, from Pigeons & Planes, connected with Chance’s team to see exactly how Chance’s puppet universe came to life.

My favorite thing about sports is getting to know athletes on a more personal level. It has always been cool to me to see how much we all relate no matter how famous they get. Damian Lillard is not only one of the top point guards in the NBA, but he also has the hottest bars in the league. Shout out to Justin Tinsley for highlighting Dame Dolla’s new project, The Letter “O.”
