Whether you’re a football fan or not, you probably watched some of the Super Bowl last night. It could be because of the Super Bowl party you were at, Lady Gaga’s halftime show, or simply because of the commercials. Super Bowl LI brought viewers a Super Bowl game for the ages, and Lady Gaga pleased the crowd, but did the commercials compare?

Skittles has been killing the advertising game for years, and they are not slowing down in this Super Bowl. This candy casanova ends up wooing the entire family (and some extras) with his romancing skills.


Snickers goes live.


Biggest commercial risk goes to Snickers for doing a live Super Bowl commercial at halftime. Everything goes wrong, but unlike the Atlanta Falcons’ second half, it ends up working for Snickers.


Hyundai brings the Super Bowl, and their families, to the troops.


The most heartfelt commercial goes to Hyundai. Using 360-degree cameras placed throughout the stadium, troops stationed thousands of miles away got the chance to take part in the Super Bowl experience with their families. This commercial had some risks as well, since it was shot during the actual game.
