Tumblr Adds Stickers and Filters to Mobile App

Every social media website borrows from each other. It may be to stay trendy, make a certain idea better, or just capitalize off of someone’s innovative idea. Tumblr is no different.

Tumblr rolled out a new update yesterday that brings “over 100 extremely relevant stickers,” to place on your photos and GIFs. Sound familiar?

100 stickers are available to use now, but Tumblr will be updating new stickers regularly including holiday themed stickers. February will feature Black History Month and Valentines Day stickers. You can apply the stickers by pressing the face icon at the bottom of the app. For the filters, users just tap the wand button, then swipe right or left for the filter they want. Stickers and filters are only available to use in posts and are not available for Tumblr ads.
