8. Have Another Set of Eyes

It’s definitely tough having that confidence to share your work with others, but if you’re trying to improve your writing, it is more than necessary. Allowing someone to look over and edit your work is pivotal in any writing process. The two steps of this process are revising and editing. Revising allows the reader to look for flow of your writing. Does this sentence need to be moved somewhere else? Does this whole paragraph need to be omitted? Editing allows the reader looks for your basic errors such as capitalization and punctuation that you may have missed.
